2024 AA Awards: A closer look at our winning work

McCullough Creative was honored to earn some big prizes. Take a deeper dive into projects that took home the hardware.

This year’s AA Awards corralled some of the best creativity in the region, all set against a backdrop of cowboy grit and frontier spirit. With a Cowboys & Creatives theme, the event tipped its hat to risk-takers—those willing to blaze new trails and push creative boundaries. It was the perfect setting to celebrate bold ideas and fearless execution.

We were proud to wrangle up five awards for four different projects at the February 28 event, proving once again that great work is worth saddling up for.

At the John Deere Tractor & Engine Museum in Waterloo, Iowa, history comes to life through the evolution of its buildings. Instead of focusing on people, the exhibit tells the story of the structures—how they evolved and were adapted over time. By weaving personal, human-like narratives, it transforms bricks and mortar into characters with purpose. Pressing a button illuminates the building and initiates a video detailing its significance to the John Deere story. This interactive approach highlights the interconnected nature of these spaces and their lasting impact on future generations.
