BACKGROUND
Capra Bank arrived at a critical time. Formerly local banks were lessening their focus on the market, and customers were growing weary of what “local banking” had become. Recognizing the opportunity, two entrepreneurial brothers developed a renewed vision for what an exceptional community bank should be—and got to work making it a reality.
CHALLENGE
As their family’s fourth generation of bankers, Capra’s founders needed a brand that simultaneously felt fresh and cutting edge while also representing a legacy of banking excellence. It needed to have the energy and ambition of a start-up as well as an immediate sense of trust and strength.

Targeting an intentional audience of small- to mid-size businesses, their owners, and their high-level employees, we developed a brand designed to rise above the noise. Portraying confidence in every color, angle, and word, we introduced a timeless brand capable of thriving in any community the bank may expand to.

BUILDING A BRAND
The name Capra (Latin for “ibex”) created abundant opportunities. We developed a logo that captures the essence of the bank: strong, nimble, and on the ascent, making it equally venturesome, yet grounded in legacy. Then we created a tagline—Always Elevating—and a voice that convey Capra’s brand promise to enrich the employees, clients, and communities it serves.
CATALYZING BRAND LOYALTY
When you have a great thing going, you need to let the world know. Developing and executing everything from digital campaigns to loyalty programs and sponsorship activations, we created excitement and built brand loyalty by highlighting the bank’s connection to the community.
DIGITAL BUILDOUT
Next we took that brand identity and put it at clients’ fingertips, creating an impactful digital presence that effortlessly represents the brand while serving practical user-experience needs.
OFFICE SPACE
A dynamic brand can’t have a drab office environment. Working with Capra, we designed and built an environment that helped clients and employees see and feel the bank’s energizing and impactful presence.
THE RESULTS
In short order, Capra Bank has gone from ambitions to results. An impactful brand identity, robust digital presence, strategic marketing effort, and vibrant office atmosphere have helped it climb the mountain. A little over a year after launch, Capra has grown to more than 50 staff members, expanded to new markets, and grown its assets over 600 percent. More importantly, it has delivered on its promise of restoring what matters most in community banking. Always elevating, indeed.
